CLINICAL LONGEVITY

A clinical approach to ensure lasting visible skin performance

Making skincare a lever for longevity.

An approach born from two complementary areas of expertise

Docteurs Cible Skin

Plastic surgeon, devoted more than 40 years to a priority: preserving the quality of skin tissue and making stability, recovery, and regeneration a clinical reference.

Pharmacist-researcher in immunology, he extended this work at the biological level, studying skin performance markers and the impact of immediate and repeated inflammation on the acceleration of skin aging.

Longevity:

Extending visible skin performance by controlling inflammation over time.

What accelerates visible signs of aging

Chronic inflammation and the exposome, particularly UVA and pollution, weaken the skin day after day. This weakened biological terrain promotes the appearance of spots, the establishment of wrinkles, and the progressive loss of firmness.

Stress situation vs. 1-LGVTY + stress situation

Strong reduction of inflammation

Inflammatory stresses, whether acute or chronic, impact skin longevity. This inflammation, often called inflammaging, alters cellular functions, disorganizes the skin barrier, and accelerates the decline in skin's biological performance. In our UV-exposed explant models, the patented 1-LGVTY® technology strongly reduces the cytokines IL-1α and IL-6, two master biomarkers of inflammatory responses involved in the progressive degradation of skin functions.

Clear reduction of oxidation

Cutaneous oxidative stresses correspond to an imbalance between the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Regulating oxidative stress plays a key role in skin longevity potential. When ROS exceed natural antioxidant capacities, they alter lipids, structural proteins and fibers, compromising the biological performance of the skin. In an explant model subjected to acute oxidative stress, 1-LGVTY® markedly reduces ROS production in keratinocytes, fibroblasts, and the extracellular matrix. By reducing protein oxidation by 237%, the technology restores the skin's ability to resist, recover, and preserve its longevity potential.

Re-balancing the microbiome

Imbalances in the skin microbiome constitute real microbiological stresses, influencing skin longevity. They disrupt skin homeostasis and weaken its natural defense mechanisms. On explants subjected to environmental stress (UV and pollution), 1-LGVTY® stimulates the expression of antimicrobial peptides, particularly β-defensins-2, as well as immunomodulatory mediators, which help maintain a functionally stable microbiome essential for promoting skin longevity.

The actions of 1-LGVTY on skin longevity biomarkers:

Melanin reduction

Regulation of melanogenesis is essential for skin longevity, because excessive or unbalanced melanin production reflects an alteration of the skin's protective mechanisms. In an explant model subjected to pigmentary stress (UV / inflammation), 1-LGVTY® reduces the amount of melanin by 80% and decreases tyrosinase activity by 125%, improving pigmentation and skin longevity, while evening out skin tone.

Increased collagen synthesis

The quality of the collagen network is one of the most determining indicators of skin longevity. Over time, its synthesis decreases while its degradation accelerates, leading to loss of density, firmness, and appearance of wrinkles. In an explant model subjected to combined UV + pollution stress, 1-LGVTY® preserves collagen I fibers and stimulates their production by 114%, reinforcing the structural longevity of the dermis and the stability of its extracellular matrix.

Increased hyaluronic acid synthesis

Hyaluronic acid, through its interaction with the CD44 receptor, modulates key processes of longevity such as hydration, skin repair, and cellular signaling. It ensures cell cohesion, deep hydration, and the skin's ability to regenerate. In an explant model subjected to UV and pollution, tissues treated with 1-LGVTY® show a 98% stimulation of CD44 receptor expression, revealing better preservation of endogenous hyaluronic acid, enhanced cell cohesion, and strengthening of the skin barrier essential for skin longevity.
